My printer, Officejet pro 9010, seems to have lost wifi settings but I cannot get to reset it because I use HP instant ink cartridges and it says I can't use those cartridges.

@SteveC27, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to print as the printer is offline.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

Make sure the printer is connected to the internet to use Instant Ink cartridges.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the info but my problem is that as soon as I switch on it wants to align the cartridges which it says I'm not entitled to use. It won't let me get beyond that so I cannot get to the control panel hence I can't set the wifi up again.

Are you using Instant Ink cartridges in the printer?

Have you checked your HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.

If the suggested information can't be found, please send me a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Let me know.
