@Fabian_129, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Ink Cartridge Errors on HP InkJet Printers!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Ink cartridge errors on HP InkJet printers can arise due to various reasons such as incompatibility, improper installation, or dirty contacts. Here is a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

Step 1: Check the Ink Cartridge Numbers

  1. Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
  2. Wait until the ink carriage stops moving.
  3. Check the cartridge labels and compare them with the compatible cartridge numbers for your printer model.

Step 2: Reset the Printer

  1. Turn the printer off by pressing the power button.
  2. Wait for a few seconds and then turn it back on.

Step 3: Clean the Cartridge Contacts

  1. Turn off the printer and remove the cartridges.
  2. Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water to clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.
  3. Clean the corresponding contacts inside the printer.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges and close the cartridge access door.

Step 4: Reinstall the Drivers

  1. Uninstall the existing printer drivers from your computer.
  2. Download and install the latest drivers from the HP website.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
