If you want to continue using the instant ink cartridges sent to you before you canceled, yes, you would have to rejoin. But I would carefully consider whether you should do that. When you canceled, HP stopped those cartridges from being able to work in your printer. They told you that on the cancel page (that was the first I was aware of what this program was about. Yes, I should have studied it more carefully). If you're happy with the service (but you canceled, so you must have had some reason not to be), then yes rejoin. But if you have so little invested in this ink program, and you have other ways to get ink without Big Print Brother watching your every move, then you might consider not rejoining. I have an old HP that I"ve been using Instant Ink for years and liked it up until this point. Last month, I had no ink for my Christmas printing - so HP didn't keep me stocked like they said they would, although they made sure to take my money every month - so I had to go buy ink. I was going to cancel Instant Ink at that point - because the program missed its promise to keep me stocked - but low and behold, they suddenly sent me four cartridges!! Right before the big price increase. And if I cancel, all that ink is useless. But I"m considering canceling and getting a new, non-HP printer, because HP sucks. So good luck with your decision. I think I've convinced myself what I'm going to do.
