Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? What operating system? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?

Are the cartridges HP Instant Ink or retail cartridges?

Based on your truncated description it is likely there has been a color mix between the magenta and yellow inks.  If your printer has ink cartridges with the printheads built in (typically a tri-color cartridge) then replacing the cartridge will likely correct the issue.  If you are subscribed to the HP Instant Ink you can get a replacement cartridge as follows: The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.  Alternately, you can click on the Virtual Assistant.  When the assistant opens type "Where is my ink?" (w/o the quotes).  The system will ask a few questions and then schedule your shipment.
