Solved!

Prints deducted from subscribed plan but still original ink cartridges

Hi community

 

I just brought a Deskjet 2633. Subscribed the 100 pages\month instant ink and got 2 free months.

 

I read that plan only starts after first instant ink cartridge is instaled.

I have not receive any cartridge yet, still using the cartridges supplied with printer but i have pages already taken from my montly plan. 

 

Could you please assist?

I am not going to contradict what you read.

 

Please check the ink cartridges to see whether they are marked "Instant Ink Ready".

 

In so much that I am aware

  • Instant Ink Ready cartridges are immediately available to be used with the Instant Ink Print-by-Page subscription.
  • The contract indicates when Instant Ink Ready cartridges are installed in the printer, the service / contract starts immediately upon the registration have been completed and accepted.

First of all many thanks for your fast reply.

 

You have absolutely right, i have that information in original ink cartridges.

 

It's wrong by HP to make this. I'm paying double for those ink cartridges.

You are not the first one to be confused by the distinction.

 

Opinion

People who save more money on the service are typically those who print a number of pages each month - for example, teachers and those who print larger numbers of pages per month on a regular basis.
