When I try to print anything I get the message with 3 dots in the corner saying "The indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer. If this problem persists, replace the cartridges."
I reset the printer several times and I also cleaned the cartridge but only with partial results. Printer start working just for 1 or 2 copies then I get again the problems about communication. What else can I do?
Thanks

Hi @Adamisio,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with your HP printer using instant ink cartridges.
Please follow the steps listed below to remove and set up web services:
1. Open the embedded web server (EWS):
a. Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer by pressing the Information button (i) to print an Information page.
NOTE: The printer must be on a network and must have an IP address.
b. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 123.123.123.123, type the following address into the web browser: http://123.123.123.123.
2. Click the Web Services tab, and then click Remove Web Services in the Web Services Settings section.
3. Click Remove Web Services.
4. Click Yes to remove Web Services from your printer.
You may also refer to this document to turn off web services: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536
5. Click the Web Services tab again.
6. In the Web Services Settings section, click Setup, click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions to accept the terms of use.
7. If prompted, choose to allow the printer to check for and install printer updates.
8. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.

Hi, thanks for your answer.
I followed all your instructions with no problem but nothing changed. At the moment my printer is on the network, I can see it both from my browser (using IP address) and from HP Smart App. I am using a wi-fi connection but I can't print. If I run a diagnostic I continue to get a cartridge communication problem (colour cartridge).

Hi @Adamisio,
Please follow the steps listed below to restore the printer to its network defaults and then reconnect it to the network.
Step 1: Restore the printer to its network defaults.
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button (X) from the printer control panel together for three seconds
Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to the network:
1. Press and hold the wireless button on the printer for more than least three seconds to start the WPS Push Button method.
2. Press the WPS button on your router.
NOTE: The product begins a timer for approximately two minutes while a wireless connection is established. If the printer connects successfully, the light next to the Wireless button glows steady blue.

Ok, I did it.
As result at the moment my printer is connected to the correct network, I can see on the display its IP number, MAC number and its Name Host. The blue light is on and steady.......... but I still have my colour cartridge problem.
One thing is changed, now the message I get it's no more "Cartridge comunication problem" but "Colour cartridge empty".
