When I bought my printer this past spring 2023, HP was promoting HP+ and Instant Ink. The promotion was that by signing up for HP+ and Instant Ink, the regular 1-year warranty would be extended to TWO years. However, each time I look at my HP account, it shows a warranty of only one year. I have contacted HP FIVE times now, each time they promise me that the situation will be fixed, but each time the warranty remains the same at one year.
This seems pretty basic to me (change from 1 to 2 years on my account), yet no one at HP seems able to fix the issue. I have spent HOURS waiting on the phone with them. Totally ridiculous. Not enough that I bought their product, they wanted personal details which I sacrificed to them to get the two years, but now they are not delivering on their side of the bargain.
I'm beginning to think that this is a case of false advertising and that I should report this to the authorities. Have others had this same problem?
