I do not want to sign up for instant ink. I bought my authentic Hp laser jet toner cartridge from office works and installed it today and now my printer will not operate due to account issues. Support tells me to cancel subscription to instant ink but I do not have a subscription to cancel. I’m running a business and have deadlines to meet but have spent three hours trying to get answers on how to get my printer working again.

If you were enrolled in the instant ink before or the printer, and if you have canceled it and are unable to use HP toner cartridges, here's what you need to know & do:

 

If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, you can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.

 

That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536

 

when done successfully, check if it works fine.
