Purchasing cartridges outside the Instant Ink program

I am in the middle of printing a rather large file and have run out of ink faster than I thought. My printer triggered a new cartridge shipment but it won’t be delivered for a few days.  If I go purchase a cartridge from the store will it mess up my Instant Ink program?

Yes, you can use regular ink cartridges when enrolled in instant ink service.

Note: The pages printed using regular ink cartrdiges will not be counted against your plan.
