How do I disable  the instant ink feature on my printer HP  Office Jet Pro 6978 ... I bought  it used and the instant ink program does not make since for me .....  Thanks

Hello,

In order to palliate this incident, please restore the printer to the original factory defaults as follows:

  1. On the printer control panel, and then swipe and touch the Setup icon ().
  2. Touch Printer Maintenance, and then touch Restore.
  3. Touch Restore Factory Defaults.
    A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.
  4. Touch Continue.
  5. The printer restarts automatically.

Use the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer control panel display to set up wireless communication.

  1. On the Home screen of the printer, and then touch Wireless icon ().
  2. Touch Settings icon (), and then touch Wireless Settings.
  3. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
  4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Then, please go to the Turning On Web Services section to reactivate the printer's Web Services.
