If you cancelled Instant Ink then you must remove ALL instant ink cartridges from the printer and buy regular HP cartridges at the store and then you can resume printing.  Once your subscription is cancelled at the end of the billing cycle your pens will no longer work.

Pls cancel Instant Ink. I did not subscribe and hv been trying to notify HP.  I have one package of product, should I mail it back?"

I own an HP 4630.  I rarely use my printer and therefore, would not subscribe to your product.  Cancel any data you have and tell me what to do with unopened packager

@bobkatz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Is the printer already enrolled in Instant Ink?

If you would like to cancel the subscription, you may refer to this document to know how to do that - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service

If you are unable to cancel it for some reason, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

You can mail back the Instant Ink cartridges to HP using the envelope it came in.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
