Re: Cancelled Instant Ink service and now I can't print

I have bought new cartridges and installed them, while my printer does print it wont scan ever since i cancelled Instant ink, can anyone help. If not I will replace the printer with something that is not HP

Putting in new cartridges should never affect your ability to scan.  

Please go to support.hp.com and download the latest software drivers to enable scanning.  Sometimes it's just the connection between your PC and printer that needs to be re-established to scan to your computer if that is the problem.

If they physical scan function doesn't work on the printer and you get a hardware error message then you may need to talk with a HP customer support agent.  Here is the link to chat or phone:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
