HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

Is there any way to get my printer to accept recycled cartridges?  I have tried uninstalling and putting in an old HP cartridge, then reinstalling after a 10 minute wait, but the printer does not print all the colors.

I know HP Wants to hold us hostage to their ink and their inane 'instant ink' program, but I prefer to use reccycled cartridges.

Thanks

If some colors are not printing properly the likely issue is a poor cartridge.  You can confirm this is the case by removing the color cartridge and gently blotting the printhead against a damp tissue.  A good cartridge will show a strong blot of cyan, magenta and yellow, your "recycled" cartridge is likely missing one or more colors.
