Hi all,
Below is the error message from the Hp Smart. I have purchased new cartridges 2x from one of your trusted retailers, verified the printer is listed on it as well.
I have also followed instructions on these various support pages such as below:
- hard reset printer
- uninstall, clean printer, reinstall the new cartridges
- performed firmware update on printer
- and verified it was updated via the HP Smart portal
This printer is seldom used maybe 20-30 pages a month. Please advise on what else we can do.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Which of the ink cartridge is indicated in the error?
Try inserting one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.
If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue with the printer as you have used a new set of ink cartridges.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
