Replacing Instant Cartridge

Hi - just tried to replace my magenta cartridge with the new instant ink one and get the error “cartridge can only be used in printer that initially installed it”. It’s a new cartridge from HP Instant Ink and not used before. Tried the power off and on which does not work.
