Resetting EWS details - Deskjet 2620

I recently set up my printer again (Deskjet 2600 all in one series) due to having to WFH. Since I've not had to use it in about 6 months I've forgotten my EWS details I set up - the areas to do factory resets etc are protected by this password too - so I have no ability to do these things.

The printer was working fine until I started using my Instant Ink cartridges, which have now stopped printing due to the printer not being connected to wireless (I've been using the printer via USB) - and every time I try to connect I can't get past the printer password.

 

I've done every reset possible and searched everywhere to try and make this work - with no luck!

 

Please can someone help me find out how to reset these security details - I really need my printer now!  🙂

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

If you are trying to connect the printer to your wireless network, you do not need the EWS page credentials.

 

To know how to connect the printer to the wireless network, kindly refer to this document.

Use the WPS method.

 

To reset the wireless settings on the printer, press and hold the cancel button and the wireless button together for 3 seconds and release it.

 

Apart from this, we cannot perform any other resets on this model printer.

 

If you are not able to connect the printer to the wireless network, use Wifi-Direct to print from your Win PC.
