It will not let me connect to the internet until I have put cartridges in. (I am stuck eith er with put cartirdges in - or replace cartrdiges) I have used the cartridges from the old printer. It will not accept these.

There is no telephone support at the weekend.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

@MitsyCat, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

What is the error message that you get?

Did you receive ink cartridges with the replacement printer?

If you received a replacement printer from HP, add it to your existing Instant Ink account.

  1. Set up your new printer. Follow the instructions that came with the printer to unpack the printer and install the new Instant Ink cartridges. If you need to install a driver, go to 123.hp.com and follow the instructions. Download a basic driver if one is available.

  2. To transfer your Instant Ink account from the original to the replacement printer, sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.

  3. If you have more than one printer, select the printer you are replacing.

  4. If you see a ‘Printer Replacement notification’, click Continue in that notification. If you do not see the notification, click Enroll/Replace Printer in the Status area.

As the issue is related to Instant ink cartridges, I need more information to help you out.

Since the instant ink account details are confidential, please send me the required information via private message.

I am sending you a private message with the information required.

Keep me posted.
