Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Instant Ink. Check out this link: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER. .
HP Recommended

Just got a new printer and I can't finish setting up my HP Instant Ink account (or my printer) because it doesn't recognise any of my address and keeps telling to me to 'verify my address' without telling me how.

Was not expecting it to be such a massive pain, call me naive.

Hi @Deus_ex_,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I can help you with setting up HP Instant Ink. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started.

  • Verify Printer Compatibility: Ensure that your HP printer is compatible with HP Instant Ink. You can visit the HP Instant Ink website and check the list of compatible printers.
  • Sign up for HP Instant Ink: Visit the HP Instant Ink website (www.instantink.hpconnected.com) and click on the "Sign Up Now" button. Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
  • Select a Plan: Choose a plan that suits your printing needs. HP Instant Ink offers different monthly plans based on the number of pages you print. Select the plan that matches your requirements, keeping in mind the number of pages you usually print in a month.
  • Provide Billing Information: Enter your billing details, including your credit card or payment information. You will be charged based on your selected plan.
  • Register Your Printer: After signing up, you'll need to register your printer with HP Instant Ink. Follow the instructions on the website to register your printer. Make sure your printer is connected to the internet during this process.
  • Install Instant Ink Cartridges (if applicable): If you have already received Instant Ink cartridges, install them in your printer following the instructions provided. If you haven't received them yet, they will be shipped to you.
  • Connect Printer to the Internet (if not already connected): Ensure that your printer is connected to the Internet so that it can communicate with the HP Instant Ink service. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Check Ink Levels and Print a Test Page: Once your printer is connected, check the ink levels on your printer's control panel or through the printer software. Make sure the ink cartridges have enough ink. You can also print a test page to ensure everything is working correctly.
  • Start Printing: Now that your printer is set up with HP Instant Ink, you can start printing. Your printer will automatically communicate with HP to monitor ink levels, and when you're running low, new ink cartridges will be sent to you automatically.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
