I do not print enough for even the lowest level. I have two unopened boxes of cartridges. If I cancel, they will not be usable. Is there a way I can suspend my account until I have used these cartridges without getting more shipments?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Instant Ink query.
I'm afraid, you'd not be able to suspend your account. Inks are shipped under the Instant Ink program only when a low ink level is detected. As long as, you have sufficient ink, more ink will not be shipped.
If you need more information, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region.
