Threw away set up cartriges

I used all of the ink in the set-up ink cartridges that came with my printer. Then, having not yet received the instant ink replacement, I purchased ink from the store. Upon replacing the set-up cartridges with the store-bought cartridges, I threw away set up ink cartridges. How will this affect my instant ink subscription, if at all?

The instant subscription will not start until the instant ink cartridges are used on the printer
