Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an 8610 which has been on the instant ink program. I know I can give it to a family member but the cartridges are low and I was already shipped new ones. Can I give the printer to my mother and have her setup the account with the printer, and still have the cartidges I was sent work?
