@Krisper32, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Yes, cancel your Instant Ink Account and also remove the web services on the printer. Here is what you need to do-

Remove the Web-Services -

1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings).

2. Touch Remove Web Services.

Reboot the printer. Now, you can give them the printer.

In case, your friend wants to re-enroll they can use the document HP Printers - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink for help.
