HP DeskJet 3700 All‑in‑One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I'm on the HP Instant Ink plan and last night I went to use my printer (HP DeskJet 3700 All‑in‑One Printer) for the first time in a while (at least a few weeks).  The printer is flashing to indicate a problem with the tricolour cartridge.  If I log in to my HP Instant Ink account the 'Ink Status' says that the tricolour cartridge has a 'Cartridge error'.  I've followed the guides on how to correct (take out/put in cartridge, unplug power cord, clean contacts etc., to be honest the cartridges were pretty much spotless anyway) but the issue remains.  I had my first set of catridges shipped after enrollment exactly 2 years ago today, does that have anything to do with it?

At the moment I'm unable to print, and as I've not had a tricolour cartridge shipped for 2 years, is it possible to get one shipped even though it's reporting a 'Cartridge error'?

Many Thanks.

David.

Hi Asmita

As mentioned in the private messages, I had spoken to HP support via the online chat before you replied to my original post and they had arranged for a replacement tricolour cartridge to be sent to me.  Thank you for confirming this had indeed been arranged.

I'm pleased to say that after installing the replacement tricolour cartridge the 'Cartridge Error' issue is resolved and all is well again with my printer and HP Instant Ink service.

I wanted to update this post in case others have the issue, so they can see how I was able to resolve it.

Many Thanks.

David.
