Trying to Redeem 8 months ink - getting Server Error Try Again Soom

Looking at the board this is not a unique problem - how do you get around the Server Error? and also what is the support telephone # or how do you chat with someone?  Very frustrating - of course, HP could resolve these issues - the whole strategy may simply be - to not give the free ink - most people will get frustrated and say forget it!
