Old printer HP 6960, New printer HP 7155

I'm replacing a HP 6960 with a HP 7155.  I am having issues with setting up my InstantInk account with the new printer.

1 - when I try to remove the old one from the account, it says I have to cancel the account.

2 - however, it states on another page that installing a new printer is seamless and no new account is needed.

whatever was setup on an old printer is transferred onto the new printer.

3 - When it is asking for the "Printer code", it does not appear on the print out, nor does a HPEprint.com address.

4 - The printer is connected to my network, I've printed and scanned already.

My question is, I'm about to run out of black ink. , how do I remedy this?
