I am an Instant Ink member with major print quality issues. I went through the troubleshooting processes indicated on the printer display and in the online Virtual Assistant, including three levels of cartridge cleaning, to no effect. The Virtual Assistant instructed me to contact an agent about getting replacement cartridges (even though both cartridges currently show adequate ink levels). I have been unable to communicate with a Human Being online. How should I proceed? Thanks in advance. -Paul

We (the Community) were down for nearly two days -- things are a bit backed up.
Not your problem, of course.
Try the standard: Call Instant Ink Support on the phone.
Yes, it can take a while -- I don't have any other magic to offer.
Your faster option:
Contact HP Instant Ink Support during business days and hours available in your region.
I'll bump your request back to our moderators.

This is unbelievable. The elusive Treeko left me a message on 7/17 requesting my shipping address, to which I replied, and I haven't heard from him since. I then started an online chat to request cartridge replacement from Instant Ink today, 7/19. The elusive Queenie promised to resolve my concern as efficiently as she could, and she asked for my email address. I supplied it, and, you guessed it, that was the last I heard from her. The chat window sits dormant, and if I try to start a new chat, the Virtual Assistant asks me to log in, after which I'm sent to that same chat window of death.
What does it take to get the attention of HP support for more than a minute or two?

Thanks for responding, Dragon-Fur. I had chosen chat support because the Instant Ink site calls it 'Our fastest support option'. I used phone support just now, and got quick, capable help from the agent, who ordered new cartridges for me. Phew.

You are welcome.
True - phone calls are sometimes "yesterday's news".
Smiling.
