Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I got a used HP 6968 it needed a new black cartridge which I bought. It will not let me get passed the must enroll fridge in instant ink error. How to solve this?

If the error message is that the cartridge requires the printer to be enrolled in Instant Ink then likley the color cartridges are HP Instant Ink cartridges and will need to be replaced with retail cartridges.  Check the label on the cartridges, any that say "HP Instant Ink" or "HP Instant Ink Ready" will need to be replaced.
