I received the printer yesterday and tried to set it up. Wifi connection connects, and is solid. The printer and computer see each other and connect on HP Smart. However, when I go to instantink.hpconnect.com and try to complete Instant Ink, it says Web Services are not enabled. I check on the printer; the printer says it is enabled.
I reset Network settings and Web Services. I set them up again, and it says it is connected on the devices. I go to the HP Instant Ink site, and it refuses to connect to my printer. It says "Unable to connect to the printer. Check your connection and try again."
Calling HP Support number, and put on hold for 20 minutes before giving up.
It feels like HP Servers are just completely down. There is a box where I can enter a claim code that prints from my printer, but after I print it and enter in the code, the site says the code is invalid. Not sure what to do from here, definitely considering returning the printer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Assign a Manual IP address to the printer
• Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
• Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
• Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
• Go to Network Setup > Ethernet/Wireless Settings > Advanced Settings > IP Settings > Select Manual IP
• You would be asked to enter the IP address, default gateway, Subnet Mask, Preferred and Alternate DNS
• For the IP address, say if your printer IP address is 192.168.0.3, try assigning a different IP address that is slightly in a different rage like 192.168.0.88
• Enter the default gateway and Subnet Mask values obtained from the network configuration page
• For the Preferred DNS use 8.8.8.8 and alternate DNS as 8.8.8.4
• Touch OK and save changes
