Unsubscribe to be able to print again?

Hi,
I've got an Envy 5000 series printer. I'm unable to print (for months) and I've tried all the solutions I can find for the errors I'm getting... Server Problem - Printer could not connect to Web Services and HP Instant Ink - Connect to update. you will be unable to print soon...
The printer is online, but cannot connect to Instant Ink. When I go to the printer ip address page it says that web services are on, there are no updates, it's connected to the network, the wireless setup wizard is configured and wi-fi direct is on, but when I try to print, even from the panel on the printer (like the test pages) it makes all the printing noises and then sends out a blank page and says that there's either a server problem or to connect to instant ink.
I was wondering if I got rid of my Instant Ink subscription will I be able to print again?
Thank you.
