What is the reason my printer doesn’t support instant ink?

Hello, when I bought my printer a year of 5 ago I got a leaflet to enroll in the Instant Ink program. Then I didn’t enroll, but when I try now, it says that my printer isn’t compatible for the use with Instant Ink.

When I look at the list of compatible printers I don’t see my printer model, but when I take a look at the list of compatible cartridge models, I do see the one that I need. Isn’t it really possible to get an instant ink subscription?

True - this model is not on the list of Instant Ink supported products in the USA, either.

The reason - not shared by HP - is likely one of several -- we do not know the answer to HP internal decisions.

Possibly one or more of ...

Supplies  - Instant Ink cartridges are not the same as those cartridges you purchase for private use

Location - Shipping and / or shipping costs, number of potential or actual customers using the service

Return on investment - Tied to Location, hardware (cartridges), shipping, numbers of customers for a particular product

Other - Any reason that makes sense to HP
