HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I owned an HP 8035 AIO printer which I liked, but I had to subscribe to an ink plan. When I hadn't requested more ink, my printer shut down. I also felt creepy with something monitoring how many pages I printed per month. I'd like to know if there is a decent HP all-in-one that does not require and ink plan.

Welcome to the HP Community --

Instant Ink is an optional Print-by-Page service contract that includes ink.

This was true on the OfficeJet Pro 8035 and it is true on other HP printers as well.

I am sorry that important point was unclear before --

You need not subscribe to use your own printer.

Not.

During printer setup --

Just say "No" and / or Skip as many times as it takes for the offer to subside.

Purchase the printer you want and like -

Ask for help if you need it.

The ONLY exception to the "Optional" rule --

If you subscribe to HP All-In, the printer, support for the printer, and the ink service are included in the lease contract.
