I bought a printer that offered a 6 months free ink, 1 year extra warranty and when i tried to register it offered only 2 months??

From what i read here many people confronted with the same problem which tells me that this is false advertising?? 

Can you salve my problem or otherwise I will return the device.

The extended trial period for the Instant Ink subscription requires that you sign up for HP+ service.

What?

Look on the box - read the pamphlet in the box.

If you did register the printer with HP+

AND

If the setup is incomplete, not "right", not giving you what you want with Instant Ink,
