Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I have just created this account in hopes to find out if i'm able to use my instant ink cartridges purchased from another account. I used to have an account that I purchased an instant ink subscription and have leftover ink, but I do not rememebr the login for that account. My question is am I able to purchase a subscription on this new account and be able to use it with my already owned printer and cartridges?

Hi @tatyana2579,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

Typically, Instant Ink cartridges are tied to the specific printer and account they were originally registered with.

If you have leftover Instant Ink cartridges from a previous account and want to use them with a new subscription on a different account, it might not be straightforward.

Instant Ink cartridges are associated with a specific printer's serial number and linked to a particular account for tracking purposes.

If you do not remember the previous account details and want to continue to use your Instant Ink account, I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers who should be able to sort this out.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
