Won't print after installing new cartridge

macOS 10.14 Mojave

I received my instant ink in the mail. I replaced the color cartridge only and continued making prints. My printer acknowledged the new cartridge. A few days later, I replaced the black ink cartridge. When I tried to print, I got a message that says to remove the cartridge and reinstall it again. I did this multiple times with no success. Im getting the same massages every time. It also says " if this message continues to appear, to replace the cartridge", but I only have the older cartridge.
