I am new HP user. While I like my printer, billing has started out poorly. And the ability to reach someone to resolve is non-existent.
After enrolling in 6 months free ink, I subsequently decided to add a 3 months free paper subscription on 12/20/23.
On March 14, 2024, I was billed for my first monthly paper payment before three months trial was up. I chatted with live agent who cancelled paper service and I received notification it was cancelled. Then later, a written notice it would be finally cancelled on April 14.
Today April 15, I was billed again, with a note that I may be billed again in May.
Incorrect billing is giving me second thoughts about not just my ink subscription, but my HP inkjet purchase altogether, as there is no easy way to handle wrong billing even at this early stage. Endless virtual chats not resolving my issue. So,
1. I can submit a billing dispute with my credit card.
2. HP can choose to give me a refund for improper billing.
3. I can return the printer to my place of purchase and be done with HP customer service frustration and move on to a Canon or Epson.
Any suggestions as the best route to take?
How can I get to a live person to resolve?
