can't print until I enroll in instant ink cartridge

@fgaehring, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly check if the printer has Instant Ink cartridges installed.

It will be labelled on the inks.

 

If yes, you will have to use regular HP inks. Instant Ink will not work if the Instant Ink account is not active. The previous owner would have cancelled the subscription.

If you want to use and re-enroll the printer in Instant Ink, refer to - Enrolling in HP Instant Ink
