deskjet printer cartridge

Hi,

 

HP support please let me know the alternate cartridge I can use for my deskjet printer. The suggested cartridge is HP61. But it is not available in India.

You will have to purchase HP 802 ink cartridges in India to make the printer work. Refer to the document https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01766411 for details.

@TEJ1602,
I brought HP 802, Black Cartridge. When I put it in black cartridge light started blinking. Seems like the printer does not support that cartridge.
I need to know how to fix it.

I didn't bring color ink. First I want to check with black only. 
Is there any work around?

No, there is no workaround. This could be an issue with the printer ink system or the ink cartridge.

 

If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,
