Printer worked great for 6 months. Then screen saying won’t print until enrolled in Instant Ink. Have been all along! Will print a few times after replacing ink (note other ink still 85%). HP keeps sending me new ink. Same result, works for a few times, then same message. Spent 90 minutes on phone with HP support. They seemed perplexed. Sent new ink via Fed Ex. Guess what? Printed a few times with new ink them same message!  I now have 4 sets of perfectly good ink cartridges. Ugh!!!!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand your concern. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

The issue is not related to the ink cartridges or the printer. It is either the connectivity or issues with the instant ink account.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.
