How do I cancel Instant Ink subscription?
HP has not sent new cartridges in months, printer is not printing in color, and HP customer service says there is nothing that can be done because printer is out of warranty.

Ink is normally sent when the service is notified by the printer that ink is needed.

"Not printing in color"
Sure - Lack of color could be due to needing ink.
If that is the case, Instant Ink Support can be contacted and ink can be requested.
Could be a sign that the printer software needs to be reinstalled.
If the software is the cause of the issue, new ink would not help.

"Support says"
Instant Ink has naught to do with whether the printer is in Warranty.
If the printer hardware is broken - not common, certainly possible,
(then)
Yes, being Out-of-Warranty can be tough.
If the hardware is broken, you have no need of an Instant Ink subscription.
If the hardware is broken, the account can be transferred to a supported, working printer,
OR
The subscription can be canceled.

You can certainly cancel the subscription.
