HP instant ink support is not able to solve the problem I am having - error message that indicates that my ink cartridges are not usable until I enroll in the service. I AM ALREADY ENROLLED!! After about 5 hours with different tech support people to no avail I am about to give up and buy the regular ink cartridges and cancel the ink service. Specifically what steps do I need to do after purchasing the new cartridges?

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. You can use regular HP ink cartridges. It will work in the printer. No additional steps are required.
However, as you are enrolled in Instant Ink and have tried several steps to resolve this issue and it did not help, let me escalate this issue to the concerned team.
Please look for a private message from me requesting additional information. Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
