ink cartridge connection error

It is not about instant ink

cannot change this?

have been using QI-H96 and QI-H97 remanufactured ink cartridges for some time - now decided to tell meet recheck black ink yet it is half full or tried new even! light flashing and can do nothing with printer not even reset

have turned off unplugged reset and reloaded older driver

works for a few black pages then errors

one colour print and tells me to check black cartridge

have set photoshop and Indesign to manage colour overriding the printer

Why is this suddenly happening halfway through a cartridge?

 I'd like to help!

You may refill your cartridges or use remanufactured cartridges, but you may run into problems. HP will not guarantee the functionality of those ink cartridges.

There are many cartridges in the market which is refilled and sometimes the chip is not configured to work with the printer. You need to contact the cartridge manufacturer and find out why it's not working. Try a different cartridge supplier and check if that works.
