ink cartridge problem

ENVY 4520 all in one series
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, 

Recently my printer pops up a message -"remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge if this message continues to appear, replace the indicated ink cartridge". I tried this several times, but it still shows cartridge problems. It also shows a cartridge error in my account. 

How can I fix the error? Because they will not send a new ink cartridge if the error is not fixed.

ink cartridge problem

HP Envy 4520:  I tried removing and replacing cartridge, then printing continues for a while, then same error.

Last time, I only raised the lid, lowered it again, and was able to do more prints - less trouble, but a nuisance.

Printer diagnostics says everything OK.  I don't have a new cartridge yet.  Where do we go from here ?

ink cartridge problem

printer issue: "remove and reinstall printer cartridges." cartridges are brand new, they ARE the correct #, I've connected to the internet for updates, cleaned the connections, etc. -- everything that i've found on troubleshooting website. nothing works.

Thanks for your offer of more assistance, but the problem seems to have resolved itself after the last time I took the cartridge out and replaced it.
