HP Envy 5660
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I purchased a new hp for my business and moved the older HP Envy 5660 to my home. I had been enrolled in the HP insta ink program for the old printer and also enrolled the new printer under the same user account but changed the number of prints. So I have two printers listed in my account.  I have unopened cartridges from the old printer but I don't seem to be able to use them. Why? They are HP for this printer still new in the mailing box.

@terrilynn1229, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you trying to use the old ink cartridges with the new printer?

Are both the printers of the same model?

If you are trying to use the Setup ink cartridges that came with the old printer in the new printer, it won't work.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
