Hi,

 

i have the HP5230 printer but it is not reckonsing the code when i put it in the HP instant ink set up. it says 

Printer code not recognized. Try again. I have tried multiple times and also reset the web services. no joy.

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Restart the network devices 

  1. Turn off the Router, Printer, and the computer/ mobile devices.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
  4. Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
  5. Turn on the computer/ mobile devices.

Perform step 5 mentioned in this document.

 

Restart the web services and try again. Refer to this document to know how to enroll in Instant Ink. To know how to setup a HP Connected account, click here
