error " hp instant ink problem"
this happened days after I requested to cancel service
I don't even think it has actually expired

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Make sure the printer is connected to the Internet.
Try logging into your Instant Ink account and check the status. Click here
Restart the Web services on the printer

To turn it ON, refer to this document.
Meanwhile, as the issue is related to Instant ink cartridges, I need more information to help you out.
