Hi,

Have you enabled Web Services? the steps you describe are correct, however only valid after enabling Web Services for the printer.

1. Open the embedded web server (EWS):

2. On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless button

and the Information (i) buttons at the same time. Both a Network Configuration Page and a Wireless Network Test Report print.
3. Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer from the network configuration page.
4. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 192.168.0.12, type the following address into a web browser: http://192.168.0.12.

5. Click the Web Services tab.

6. In the Web Services Settings section, click Setup, click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions to accept the terms of use.

7. If prompted, choose to allow the printer to check for and install printer updates.

NOTE: If a printer update is available, the printer downloads and installs the update, and then restarts.

Repeat the instructions from step 5 to set up Web Services.

8. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page.

Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.
