printer doesn't recognize color ink..says to reinstall, not installed correctly..

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my printer started saying the colored ink is improperly installed.. so I was sent a new cartridge Instant Ink felt like it was defective.. installed new cartridge and same message.. the cartridge is installed correctly.. Also if I go to Instant Ink it does not show the colored ink says not detected.. can this be fixed or do I need a new printer. phone number is***

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
