WHEN POWER SWITCH ON THEN THROUGH POWER CABLE POWER IS PASSED TO HP PRINTER..BUT HP PRINTER IS NOT SWITCHED ON..PLEASE RECTIFY THIS PROBLEM AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE

If you see any light on the printer or at the rear of the printer, it means the power cable is working fine. Let us try these steps:
Reset the printer
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Also, perform the steps mentioned in this document.
