printer not printing colours prints properly

printer not detecting yellow colour. the colours of the image and the printed page is very much different. how to resolve it?

Check the ink levels and refill any empty/low ink tank.

Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

  1. Open or search for the HP folder in your list of installed software applications, click the folder for your printer, and then click the name of your printer.

    HP Printer Assistant opens.

  2. On the HP Printer Assistant window, click Maintain Your Printer.

  3. Click the Device Services tab, and then click Clean Ink Cartridges.

  4. Examine the Print Quality Diagnostic page. If the print quality is unacceptable, click Second-level Clean when prompted to continue the next level of cleaning.

    • NOTE: If the printheads are badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.
