My Instant Ink account was interrupted due to cancelled credit card. I updated my credit card info. Could not reconnect my Windows 10 PC  to my HP8000 series Ink Jet printer. The printer had been working just fine prior to the Instant Ink account problem. Now HP tech support says that I cannot reconnect to the 5G WiFi server and that a 2.4G connection is required to reconnect. How can I get my PC talking to my 8000 series Inkjet printer?

Hi @Gery2015

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

That's right. The printers do not work on 5Ghz, but they should be always connected to 2.4ghz for the printer to work and be connected.

Kindly try changing the network and if you are unable to do any changes, your ISP should be able to change that for you.

Your printer and the devices you are using to print should always be on the same network

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
